Easily the biggest letdown both in college football at online betting sites was UCLA’s stunning rout of Texas. Coming into the game, the Texas Longhorns were favored by 15.5 points. Texas has since dropped out of current rankings.
Another big college football letdown in week 4 came from the Oklahoma Sooners. They were favored by 15 points entering the game. However, they were only able to pull off a two-point victory over the unranked Cincinnati Bearcats.
Auburn’s upset of South Carolina produced another surprising letdown in week 4. Auburn entered the game favored by 2.5, but most bettors thought higher-ranked South Carolina would pull the upset, especially if they were being given points. That was not the case, as Auburn won 35-27.
Notre Dame was crushed on the field against Stanford as they lost 37-14. They were only 4.5 point underdogs and most bettors thought the Irish would at least keep it close.
