The National Hockey League regular season came to an end on Sunday. The end came with some drama, as the San Jose Sharks wrapped up the # 1 seed in the West, after the Detroit Redwings edged the Chicago Blackhawks in overtime. If Chicago had won, they would have sealed the # 1 seed. In the Eastern Conference, the Philadelphia Flyers picked up a dramatic win over the New York Rangers to pick up the final postseason spot in the Eastern Conference. The Washington Capitals finished with the most points in the entire NHL, while the San Jose Sharks and Chicago Blackhawks came in following the Capitals.
