Week 4 College Football Odds and Picks

It’s time to talk week four of college football betting. After a successful week three we are pumped to make some picks. Following are a few of our favorite picks for the week. Throughout the rest of the week, we will add some more and give you some analysis on why.

On Thursday night, we love the Miami Hurricanes. Randy Shannon’s team is pretty good. Sure, they had a rough go against the Sooners, but the “U” will blast Pittsburgh, despite being on the road. Dave Wannstedt’s team is just not that good this year, yes, we know, they took Utah to O.T. on the road, but not this time. Miami covers the 3 point spread.

Alabama is a 7.5 point favorite on the road at Arkansas. This line is juicy to us. Yes, the Crimson Tide are really good, but Arkansas looks destined to compete at the top level this season. Ryan Mallett will get plenty of opportunities to throw, and we look for him to carve up the Crimson Tide defense. Take Arkansas to cover +7.5 at home against Alabama on Saturday.

Our third game is Stanford at Notre Dame. The Cardinals may have their best team in years. Notre Dame is desperate for a win. All of these factors, and the odds makers come up with a Stanford – 4.5 line. Brian Kelly will not allow his Irish to lose three straight games – we not only like the Irish to cover in this one, but we like them to win, straight up.

Lastly, South Carolina goes to Auburn. The Gamecocks are a 2.5 point underdog. Steve Spurrier may have the best Gamecock team in a long time. Auburn is coming off an emotional win at home over Clemson. Look for a bit of a let down for the Tigers. South Carolina comes in and wins. Take South Carolina +2.5.

Here are a few of our favorite games for week 4 of college football. Good luck – the weekend will come up fast!
